Started by our Operations Director and Injector Marie, her goal is to make evidence-based trainings accessible to local injectors in a small setting so there’s better reflection and comprehension. There are two types of trainings we currently offer: (1) high-caliber didactics, which will arm novice and advanced injectors of the evolving evidence-based guidelines supporting safe and effective aesthetic procedures (2) a supervised hands-on injection session which includes a review of anatomy and live injection giving the trainees the opportunity to inject and hone their skills.
Bookmark this page as we constantly update training topics and schedules. We only take 5 participants at a time, so you get the best return on investment, knowledge, and skill-wise. In Marie’s words, ” I understand that cost of training is prohibitive to new injectors or those that just opened their doors. I took those into consideration when thinking of this new way of learning and teaching. You will leave the training knowing that you will be a safe injector for your patients“
$299 VASCULAR OCCLUSION MANAGEMENT- DIDACTICS. JUNE 3, SAT, 9-11 AM
Let’s start a community of safe injectors in the island. With more injectors injecting, we open the gates to more complications. New injectors are usually trained on techniques, some won’t include anatomy, most won’t discuss vascular occlusion management and avoidance. Vascular occlusion is a scary experience for patients and can have devastating long-term effects. Likewise, it is an experience no injector wish to encounter. Truth is, whether you’re a beginner or advanced injector, vascular occlusion is a complication you need to be aware of and be ready to handle. After all, fillers are a medical procedure; thus, patient safety remains an injectors’ priority!
For this 2-hr training, you will learn evidence-based guidelines in managing and avoiding filler-induced vascular occlusion. We will teach you how to avoid, recognize signs, and manage vascular occlusion. You will know what goes into your VO crash kit, understand supportive measures for wound healing, and learn from real-life vascular occlusion experience. You will have the opportunity to interact with fellow injectors and engage in meaningful discussions, and understand the variances in vascularization with an ultrasound demonstration. This is didactics course, you will not be injecting.
