Dr. Graeme Reed, MD | Medical Director
Dr. Reed returned to school to study medicine at the John A. Burns School of medicine at the University of Hawaii after having worked for many years in Christian ministry both as a missionary in the South Pacific and as an associate pastor here in Hawaii. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with high honors in only three years and then completed his medical degree in 2008 at which time he was accepted into one of the oldest Family Medicine residency programs in the country at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino California which is affiliated with Western University and with the University of California Irvine. Having received high quality and thorough training in all aspects of Family Medicine, Dr. Reed has returned to Hawaii with a strong desire to serve the people of Kapolei and surrounding areas, providing quality primary medical care for the whole family at The Family Doctor.ย ย Dr Reed has advanced medical training and certification in the use of Botox, Dermal Fillers, Sclerotherapy, PDO Threads, Laser, Radiofrequency and Intense Pulse Light treatments. Aleena has always been passionate about skin care. She loves the beauty and art of aesthetics and always dreamed of combining her nursing skills and passion for aesthetics. While she was in nursing school, she attended classes at night to become an Esthetician. Gilbert Julian Jr. is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare, including emergency medicine, telemetry, and primary care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaiโi at Mฤnoa and his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from American Sentinel University. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health at Chaminade University, with an anticipated graduation in Fall 2027.
Gilbert is deeply committed to continuous education and advancing his expertise in aesthetic medicine through ongoing trainings, hands-on experience, and mentorship. He has a strong interest in integrating mental health with aesthetic medicine, recognizing the importance of mental health awareness and prioritizing emotional well-being while also taking care of the body. Kai is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the state of Hawaii and is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is Clean Needle Technique certified from the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Commission, (ACAOM). He earned his Masterโs Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Texas Health and Science University in Austin, TX. He grew up with Traditional Chinese Medicine in his native country of Taiwan . He began his academic career at Fujen Catholic University as a nursing major. Upon completion of his nursing degree, Kyle took advantage of the opportunity to continue his studies at his universityโs sister school, which happened to be Texas A&M at Laredo. During his time at TAMUL, he discovered Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which dramatically shifted his career path from Western medicine back to his eastern roots. His ability to grasp Eastern and Western diagnosis provides him with a unique skill set.
